The best ways to market a business for sale Helium
27.06.10
You will hope for to very carefully plan what will be on such a flyer. You don’t want the person to feel like they will just buy the business and it will misfire. Talk about good things such as if it has been open for a long time. You can also talk about why you are leaving (if that sanity is not that business is bad, of course). For instance, if you just want to move away, then you can put that down. If the business has been lucrative then share that.
See if you can market the business in woman or on the phone
Perhaps you know someone who you think might be interested in owning your business. Talk to them about it. You can also ask around to see if anyone might know of others. If you have frazzled these options, you can also call other companies who you think might be interested in owning your business. For instance, if you own a small bookstore and there is one in the next town that is doing well, then perhaps they would be interested in expanding to a new unearthing. Think of any such entities.

Where can I find a business for sale in the uk?

Where is the tucker place to look for business for sale in the UK? I have come in to some money and am looking to buy and start my own restaurant. All internet sites assess a fee and i'm never sure I wont get ripped off! Estate agents? Or is there a specific place everyone looks and I just don't distinguish about it!?
One of the upper-class known is Fleurets. They specialise in the hospitality trade.
Caterer and Hotelkeeper magazine is also a useful resource. It has businesses for sale and knowledge on suppliers
Also, contact Business Link as soon as possible. They'll guide you through all the health and hygiene stuff that's key. They'll also help with your business plan, which is essential.
The catering trade is a tough one - I've been in it and still advise on parts of it. You need a honourable location for your premises, an excellent chef who's reliable, honest staff and outstanding marketing to pay for sure you have steady trade.
Good luck!

how do I find out from the net if a UK business is for sale?
Jan 30, 2007 by jo p | Posted in Other - Business & Finance
I have recently heard many rumours that a business is for sale. Im exasperating to find out on the net if it is, however this is difficult.
The business is a small motor insurance brokers based in birmingham. Does anyone have any liks they could send to me that might remedy??
PS, im just being nosey at this stage as I used to work there.
depends why and how it's for sale.
Flotation - it will be pushed through by a finance establishment with a lot of marketing directed at rich people and brokers. It might break cover on the net in that circumstance, close to the flotation woman.
Trade sale - they're probably negotiating privately, and have no desire to publicise the fact. The net will know nothing.
Administrator/receiver - statutory notices will descend upon out in statutory timescales. Not sure where - might be newspaper announcements.
