Our Mervyns is going, two appliances stores have closed, and another is going out of business, and my boyfriend's grandpa's electric company is actually losing a lot of business and is having irk paying what employees it has left...

This has all happened within the last year in southern California.

Why? People can't afford belongings, Mervyns is going under nationally, and there aren't enough new businesses starting up to keep the electric company going strong...
