what marketing strategies can i applied just to increase sales in retail business?

i am on the nourishment retail group, we are now loosing sales, how can i get more customers

Set up canopies is indubitable crowded places and then display your product samples there. Introduce flyers. Add leaflets to the newspapers. Think back on to advertise your products with affordable price in those leaflets and flyers. Make sure the leaflets are shining and not of recycled paper.

Start aggressive marketing by introducing loyality cards or membership cards and give discounts to those steady customers. This will help retain your old customers. Also make sure your workers and sales men are well behaved and kind. If your sales men are rude then forget about customer retention.

Have you noticed business being kindly of slow or not?

I am in landscaping business and I have not noticed much going on here in Tennessee in that area.

What about you?

what is the reason?

I occupation for myself,i do mainly academic work now, but I used to run both a retail and a service company. I think that work follows biography, you have busy times and slow times. I imagine that in your work, that the weather effects it, also remember that people take holidays so do not fall short of work doing then; and of course sometimes people are short of money to spend on such things. I wouldn`t be anxious too much, try to do some mail-shots and advertisements to let people know that you are around, and tell them what you can do for them. Good Luck. ( I`m in England, but I contemplate that trade is very similar, no matter where you live)
