American Family Insurance Agent

I’m all in all becoming an Insurance Agent and American Family Insurance is one of many companies I have met with. I’m in the Seattle area and I’m having a tough time finding anything about what American Next of kin is all about, I’m assuming it’s because AFI is relatively new in this market.

Here is what I know so far….

They open up a fancy office for you, give you a draw for staff and income (which you have to pay back in the back end). They need new agents to hit 100 policies after the first 9-10 months. I have heard that you work 65-75 hours per week for the first 1-3 years, AFI requires you to occupy oneself with training and public events for marketing purposes.

I really would like to hear from anyone that has been though AFI, hear about their experience, profit or bad. I’ve did a search and did not really come across anything on here. I would really appreciate any advice I can receive. Thanks!

But although Obama distribution officials note that the provision will help millions, the benefit is proving less immediate than many families expect.

The delivery's success in convincing dozens of insurers to comply with the provision earlier than the law requires has left many parents with the fancy that their adult children will be eligible for continuing coverage far sooner than is likely to be the case, experts said.

According to the law, salubrity plans don't have to comply until their first renewal date after Sept. 23. For some plans, that's as soon as October. For many, it's January. For others, the compliance appointment won't be until May.

That means many college seniors whose parents' health plans allowed them to stay on until they graduated this spring may mien a gap in coverage until the new requirement kicks in.

Soon after the law was passed, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius called on insurers to mingy the gap by complying with the law early in such cases. More than 60 major insurance companies and several large employers agreed to do so.
